What technology services does Hefesto offer?
Hefesto Technology & Consulting provides four services: cybersecurity and digital infrastructure, IT consulting and digital strategy, software and web development, and the supply and installation of audiovisual equipment and solutions. We work mainly with small and medium-sized businesses.
Where is Hefesto based, and which markets does it serve?
The office is in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal. We work on site across Madeira and remotely with clients in mainland Portugal, Angola, Mozambique and South Africa. Most engagements are delivered remotely, with on-site visits arranged where a project requires them.
Does Hefesto work with small companies?
Yes. Most of our clients are small and medium-sized businesses. Each service is organised into plans by company size, from baseline configurations for a handful of workstations through to hybrid infrastructure for larger organisations.
How does a project with Hefesto start?
It always starts with a conversation. We carry out an initial assessment at no cost, to understand the current situation, the most likely risks and the priorities. Only then do we put forward a proposal with a defined scope, timeline and cost.
What does a security assessment cost?
The initial assessment is free and takes about fifteen minutes. It identifies the obvious gaps in the infrastructure and indicates where to start. It carries no obligation to engage any service.
Does Hefesto provide ongoing technical support?
Yes. Alongside one-off projects, we offer support plans covering preventive maintenance, monitoring and technical assistance. The level of cover is matched to the size and criticality of each client infrastructure.
In which languages does Hefesto work?
Portuguese and English. Documentation, reports and proposals are delivered in whichever of the two the client prefers, and technical contact is available in both.
